2007 NBA Draft

2007 NBA Draft as seen from ESPN:

  • 1. Greg Oden: Ohio State
The best big-man prospect to enter the draft since Tim Duncan. He's a lock to be the No. 1 pick as long as he stay healthy.
  • 2. Kevin Durant: Texas
He might be the most talented prospect in the draft. He has it all: size, athleticism and a beautiful jump shot. Right now he's the consensus No. 2 pick in the draft behind Greg Oden.
  • 3. Brandan Wright: North Carolina:
On potential, he may be one of the top two or three proespects in the draft. So far he's living up to the promise.
  • 4. Joakim Noah: Florida
After an amazing run in the NCAA tournament last year, Noah's star has begun to tarnish a little. He hasn't improved the way scouts had hoped.
  • 5. Julian Wright: Kansas
Wright may be the most versatile player in the draft. He can guard and play four positions on the floor ... but he needs to develop a more consistent offensive game.
  • 6. Al Horford: Florida
Horford is a prototypical power forward with the strength, athleticism and size to play in the NBA right away.
  • 7. Chase Budinger: Arizona
Volleyball spiking two guard also has deep range on his jump shot and has already become the best player on the Arizona squad.
  • 8. Spencer Hawes: Washington
Hawes is one of the best offensive big men in the country.
  • 9. Josh McRoberts: Duke
McRoberts would've been a high pick in the 2006 NBA Draft, as a freshman. His solid, but unspectacular start to the season, has him slipping a little.
  • 10. Hasheem Thabeet
If Mouhamed Saer Sene can go No. 10, so could this super-long UConn prospect.
